We look forward to entering this journey with you to provide intention in what you are making and ensuring you are reaching your goals to fine tune your craft or ensure that special person has their gift on time. To get the most out of your planner, find time to complete the beginning steps to ensure you are able to estimate your time for creating. We find that without putting intention in our actions, they tend to flutter about. We recognize that the planning process helps us to be set up for better success in completing our projects. Being in a Local Yarn Shop (LYS), some frequent comments from makers are “I want to learn…” or “I’m always late for gifts…” Using project management experience, this journal is for the fiber artist to have structure and goal setting to accomplish goals in a direct action plan. The focus on a 12 month overview, and encourage to focus on a bigger picture concept. Plans always change, and this guide will help you get on track when you are off OR tackle the next thing when you’ve accomplished projects faster than expected. This planner is to provide an outline for the next 12 months of knit, crochet, or Tunisian crochet plans. It can be used for other crafting projects, such as needlepoint, felting, spinning, scrapbooking, etc. but you will find some of the references are focused on hand stitching for knit or crochet techniques. To maximize your time, it is recommended the planning occurs in the month prior to starting your projects. Some of the activities may also occur throughout the year.
