Fifty States Under God for Young Learners is a color-cut-and-paste workbook for age 4 through second grade. This workbook provides an introduction to all fifty states in the order of statehood. There are four pages per state, covering the date of statehood, capital city, state symbols, and map location in the U.S. This workbook is completely self-contained: color state symbol pictures and informational cut-outs needed to fill in the pages are included in the appendix at the back of the book. Each state section also includes an interesting fact related to that state and a discussion about a particular person from that state who provides an example of Christian character or patriotism. This book is correlated to Fifty States Under God (for grades 3-12) and can be used in combination with that book when teaching multi-level students together. Information in this book is taken from the fifty individual state history textbooks in the series State History from a Christian Perspective for grades 3-12 and from the correlated My State History Funbook series for age 4 through grade 2, all of which are written by Joy Dean and published by A Helping Hand. Our materials all all from a Christian perspective and emphasize the providence of God in history as well as the important part that Christian people and Biblical values played in the growth of our nation.
