Following Jesus, Come What May: The Life Story of Tanneken Fros

For the most part, Tanneken tells her own story in this book. Often at the end of chapters, other voices appear. Her brother Melchior fills us in on Christmastime in Paraguay. Her friends, Pat and Kay, talk of the quiet, withdrawn girl they first met, and the change they saw as she found personal faith in Jesus. Joana, a young blind Mozambican girl who has lived with Tanneken on school holidays for over eight years, tells us her story. Life has taken Tanneken from birth in rural Paraguay in South America to Europe and America. In her forties, she entered Christian service in Israel, and then, past her fiftieth birthday, into mission in Mozambique. This is her story of struggle, joyful sacrifice, and obedience to the call of Jesus.
