This is the resource manual for those who teach the Catechism Curriculum of the International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church (ICCEC). The Mentor (Catechist) is a vital part of the learning process for this curriculum. The Mentor’s Manual explains the approach to teaching the lessons that is used by the curriculum and gives guidance and supplemental materials that can be used by the Mentor in preparing and teaching each individual lesson. The lesson titles are: How Does God Reveal Himself? What Do I Need to Know About the Holy Scriptures? Who Does God Reveal Himself to Be? What is Salvation? What Should I Know About the Kingdom of God and the Church? What is the Role of the Holy Spirit in the Life of the Believer? What Should I Know About the Seven Sacraments? What Should I Know About Holy Baptism and the Holy Eucharist? What Should I Know About Holy Orders, Holy Matrimony, and Holy Unction? What Should I Know About Living a Life of Prayer? What Should I Know About Following Jesus? What Should I Know from the Ten Commandments About Relating to God and Others? What is the Unique Calling of the Charismatic Episcopal Church? Please note that this Mentor’s Manual does NOT contain the material found in the Student Workbook or a copy of the ICCEC Catechism. The Mentor will need BOTH a copy of this Manual and a copy of the Student Workbook, as well as a copy of the Catechism, in order to prepare for and teach this course.
