Grumbacher Alkyd Painting Medium speeds drying time and lubricates oil paint for easier gliding over surface while retaining control. Excellent for use in glazes, producing rich, transparent, luminous glazes over dried under-paintings. It is non-yellowing and archival. When added directly to paint in small amounts, painted areas can be worked over in 12 hours. Alkyd painting medium is low odor and may be diluted with any conventional oil painting solvents.
