Carson’s best friend is Michael. Michael has a vision disability. One afternoon, the two boys head to the local park. However, they encounter neighborhood bullies who laugh at Michael. Carson defends Michael, but they still decide to head home. On the way there, Michael saves Carson from being hit by a car. The next day, the two boys decide to explore the woods, along with Michael’s new companion dog, Jake. They experience more trouble in the woods though. What happens next is how solutions are found to save themselves, along with the other boys from the park.
