It should be our first line of defense and never our last resort. If we are honest, there have been many times in life when we’ve missed that mark and found ourselves walking by sight and not by faith. I’ve won local, regional, and state awards in my profession, yet quietly struggled with dating relationships for years. I’ve come to learn that if we do not address the traumatic things that have happened in our lives, our romantic relationships will. It is my hearts desire that you are encouraged and inspired to pray. I am asking God to bless you and keep you. I am asking that He make His face to shine upon you and that He is gracious unto you. I am asking that He turn His face toward you. Lastly, I am asking that He would give you peace. God sees, knows, cares, and is concerned about the details of your life. I believe He is not only ready and willing, but more than able to exceed your expectations across the board. Let Him be Lord of your life and rely on Him to make it happen when the time is right. Until then, stay on your post and pray.
