Libro correspondiente al cuarto numero de la revista La Edad de Oro publicada por Marti en el mes de julio de 1889 en Nueva York, y que se considera un clasico de la literatura hispanoamericana. En este cuarto tomo se reunen cuentos, poemas e historias en un lenguaje para que todos los ninos los entiendan y ademas, aprendan. Contiene: “Un paseo por la tierra de los anamitas”, “Historia de la cuchara y el tenedor”, “La muneca negra”, “Cuentos de elefantes”, “Los dos ruisenores”, “La galeria de las maquinas” y, como en los demas tomos, “La ultima pagina”. Book corresponding to the fourth issue of The Golden Age magazine, published by Marti in July, 1889, in New York, considered a classic of the Hispanic-American literature. In this fourth volume are gathered stories, poems and history texts in a language that every child may understand and also, learn. It contains: “An Excursion through the Land of the Annamese”, “A Story of the Spoon and Fork”, “The Black Doll”, “Tales of Elephants”, “The Two Nightingales”, “The Gallery of Machines,” and like in the rest of the volumes, “The Last Page.”
