• Commercial grade, stand-up, floor soil blocker. The Multi 35 creates makes 35 soil blocks at a time, each 1- 1/8″ x 1- 1/8″ x 1- 1/8″. This soil blocker can be used with 5/8″ seed Pins or 1″ Dowel Pins – perfect for planting in larger quantities! Please note that Seed Pins are included with this product.
• The Multi 35 is perfect for crops that don’t need a lot of soil for propagation and/or won’t be spending a long time in the greenhouse before being set out. This includes lettuce, herbs, onions, early mustards, kohlrabi, Raab, flowers, etc. and virtually anything that might be grown in 98-cell trays.
• Soil blockers are fun and easy to use, and offer an excellent growing medium. Potting soil is compressed wet into the soil block mold and then discharged into a tray with the ejection handle. Very simple to use and handle. Soil blockers make a “pot-less” pot, and can be used for all seeds, and are great to use for cuttings as well. With soil blocks, roots are air-pruned and transplant shock, stunting, slow-growth is greatly reduced.
