Music for Lute, Guitar & Mandolin

This 3-CD set comprises a broad collection of whole works by various baroque to early classical composers for lute, guitar and mandolin. Some of these composers remain famous while others were only famous in their times. The most famous names are Bach, Vivaldi, Haydn and Weber as well as Beethoven. (Most listeners will be surprised to hear mandolin music by Beethoven – it may even make them laugh!). Most of the pieces on this set are concerts for the aforementioned string instruments.
