Myths That Every Child Should Know: A Collection of Popular Myths (Timeless Classic Books)

There are wonderful stories that were written by various authors over the years. They have been edited and compiled by Hamilton Wright Mabie. The book was originally published in the early 1900’s and contains such stories as The Three Golden Apples, The Pomegranate Seeds, The Golden Touch, The Cyclops and many, many more. It’s very interesting to see what was considered required for children almost 100 years ago. The first story deals directly with death and the ‘need’ for this obviously stems from the fact that many children died when they were young. We have only included one illustration on the interior of the book for ease of use by Kindle readers, but there are nice color illustrations on the front and back covers.
