1/4-in. and 1/2-in. pressure-compensating drip emitter tubing can be installed in a wide range of above ground layouts or used under mulch or bark. Made of low-density polyethylene, it is flexible and ideal for use in planter boxes, vegetable gardens, box gardens, looped around individual plants or trees, or where total saturation is desired along the tubing path. Pressure-compensating drip emitters are built into the interior wall of the tubing spaced 12 in. apart emitting 0.50 GPH (1/4-in. tubing) or 1 GPH (1/2-in. tubing). For optimum performance, install a pressure regulator and filter (sold separately) upstream of the hose immediately after the valve or hose faucet connection. Drip stakes (sold separately) help hold the hose in place. Compatible with 1/4-in. and 1/2-in. drip fittings, including Drip-Lock, from Orbit, Hydro-Rain and other major brands. For outdoor use with cold water only.
