Sugar Daddy Snap Peas are truly stringless with fertile, bushy vines. They’ll thrive in temperatures as low as 45deg F, so plant in early spring as soon as the ground has drained and can be worked (usually 3-4 weeks before the last frost date), or in late summer as a fall crop. Cover with an inch of soil and water regularly, at the base of the plant to avoid mildew. Harvest when peas are plump (but not bursting) and 3 inch pods are juicy, crisp and sweet. Use immediately or freeze to preserve sweetness for later.
