Reflections from the Heart: In Light of the Gospel of Jesus

Reflections from the Heart is a devotional collection of short essays celebrating the gospel of Jesus Christ and His life changing power. It has a special appeal to the Christian woman, but as a collection can be enjoyed by any adult or young person who is interested in engaging the mind with truths surrounding the gospel of Jesus Christ. The collection is not simply a heart warming handbook full of inspirational prose. It’s best described as reflections that engage thoughtful participation, introduce new perspectives, asks soul searching questions, and shares helpful applications from God’s word. The author hopes to challenge the reader to think in ways they may not have been challenged to think before, using a topical approach that brings biblical concepts to life. The first chapter titled Stand Still and see the Salvation of God, sets the tone for the remainder of the book. The bulk of Reflections from the Heart center around knowing who we are in Christ, building each other up in the faith, and encouraging Christians to develop a spiritual acuity in the face of false teaching.
