Sign of the Beaver: Literature Guide

This study looks at Maine’s history during the early years of European settlement through the book The Sign of the Beaver, by Elizabeth George Speare and its accompanying movie, sometimes titled Keeping the Promise. This guide includes vocabulary and comprehension questions for all chapters of the book. It also includes activities to help you cover all subject areas required by Maine state law.
