Once UV curing process has started, it cannot be stopped. Product will cure inside bottle if exposed to Sunlight or other form of UV light. - Cures by chemical reaction and requires less build-up to fill open grain woods.
- Reacts not by evaporation but by photochemical reaction in seconds, not hours. Summer sunlight is best and a sunlamp will work well in winter. UV flashlights can be used but will require 385nm coverage and will take longer. Thicker than 3/25 inch may require layering to cure completely though.
- Less shrinkage than solvent-borne or water-borne evaporatives.
- Cures exceptionally dry unlike other UV cure resins that cure tacky.
