Our nitro is matched to some of the most classic guitar finishes from Gibson, Fender and others. Also allows for more control in spraying patterns such as sunbursts or headstock faces. - Originally seen as a custom color offered by Fender in the 50’s
- Like other metallic’s, this should be sprayed over a White Primer base coat and then Clear Coated to create the depth and effect expected with this finish
- On vintage instruments this finish was originally a transparent red lacquer sprayed over a gold or silver base coat. This can be achieved by spraying our Heritage Cherry Red over top of Goldtop.
