Still Chasin’ the Bard: The Unfinished Works of a Poet or a Madman

This book was found in my late father’s files clearly being readied for publishing. I have done nothing but design a cover based on his notes and images. This book remains unfinished, but was one of the last things he worked on before death by the last open dates on the files. Please enjoy and don’t forget to read the first book before this one. There is a mountain in Wales, and legend has it that this mountain houses a giant who is something of a bard, an astronomer and a wiseman. Any initiate who can spend the night on the mountain with the giant will return to the base transformed into either a bard or a madman. My father took this legendary journey and spent the night on top of the storied mountain. Upon returning he would spend the next six years working on two books of sonnets that delve deep into his personal life and psyche. Beyond that however, each of the sonnets he wrote also contain a full page of extrapolation on writing technique and themes. So, did my dad return a bard or a madman? You decide. – After his death I found these book files among the personal effects my dad left to me. It was very clear to me this was intended to be a two part book series that taught sonnet writing to would-be-poets, so I followed the trail and pieced these books together with love. -Elijah Wyman
