The thermocouple has a temperature range of -67degF to 626degF/-55degC to 330degC and the infrared thermometer has a temperature range of -67degF to 482degF/-55degC to 250degC. The thermocouple thermometer also has a 0. 5degF (or 0. 2degC) resolution and a 3: 1 distance-to-spot ratio. This feature rich kitchen tool also has min/max and hold functions, auto-off to preserve battery life, a HACCP pass/fail light system to notify the user of potential violations and an IP65 rating. The thermocouple thermometer also comes with a convenient black nylon storage case.
