Teaching Astronomy Through Art Book 1

These supplemental lessons reinforce astronomy facts while teaching art techniques. Art topics include drawing cylinders or spheres, shading, contrasting, blending oil pastels, watercolor, map making, and more. Astronomy topics include telescopes, astronomers, stars, comets, the sun, galaxy, nebulas, asteroids, solar and lunar eclipses, and the International Space Station.
