The Lake Authors of the Wilderness is a group of new and established writers who live in or near Lake of the Woods, Virginia. Our mission is to support and educate writers in polishing, promoting, and selling their work. Our members have published novels, children’s books, young adult stories, nonfiction works, poems, and blogs. We write in many genres including mystery, romance, women’s fiction, science fiction, history, historical fiction, humorous nonfiction, poetry, memoir, and military suspense.
