Workbook of Figurative Language, Inferencing & Double Meaning for Adolescents with Learning Delays

Ages 9+ Students must meet common core standards to progress academically, however, learning can be difficult for a myriad of reasons, such as developmental delays, memory issues, or even second language acquisition. This workbook focuses on three main goals that require students to interpret and explain figures of speech, define words that have multiple meanings, and infer based on clues found within the context or in pictures. The tasks are simplified to better improve comprehension.
